The Trailer

Some people make a scrapbook documenting a baby's first year. I've spent two weeks making a 30 minute movie. As we approach Anderson's first birthday, this has been the perfect way for me to reflect on all the joy of the past 12 months. Anderson doesn't know it yet, but in the long run, I think this movie will be his favorite gift.

It's not finished, but I agreed to post a preview (aka 1 of 13 songs) for anxious family members.

What a great idea! I'm so impressed (but not surprised-- it is YOU, after all. . .) that you have 13 songs of movie! Wow. I'll be even more impressed if you are still doing this for baby #3, #4, etc. But, I'm sure you will. Like I said, it's YOU after all. . . ;)

You put me to shame sista. LOVE IT! Especially the snap, snap, snap of the B&W's. I might need to call you for that one. Awesome job; Anders will be so impressed in about 10(?) years!

Seriously - I think we share part of the same brain!! I did the same exact thing for Sydney. My video ended up being 50 minutes long and we played it during Sydney's birthday party which was a huge hit. I LOVE my Mac with all this fun software like iMovie and iDVD!

You did a great job on the bit I saw. LOVE that song and I'm sure the whole thing is incredible. When you are done make sure you get some R&R for yourself. I know what a HUGE undertaking it is. It's one of those ideas that seemed great in the beginning but then snowballed and made you think, why am I doing this?!!!
