There wasn't nearly enough this:

And there was way too much this:

There's always tomorrow, right?

Oh Wendy!! Eli had a similar day. Not a long enough nap and he vomited a few times ALL over me. It was all I could do not to breathe through my nose in my sensitive prego state... at least Anderson was happy after spitting up! Eli - not so much.

Is Anderson a spitter? Sydney's official nickname is "Spitz" . . . I finall asked the doctor earlier this week at her 6 month check up if there was any remedy for her excessive spit up. Even after she soaked me three times right in front of him, he still said no. I'm counting down the days until no more bottles and no more spit up (which is now green or orange dependant upon whether she had, peas, green beans, squash or sweet potatoes!).

The good news is that if the lack of sleep was related to the spitting up, it might be "something" as opposed to "just another day". If he has a little stomach upset (virus, something you ate that he didn't like - spicy mexican, broccoli, chocolate, caffeine, dairy) it may go away in a few days and you'll be done with the spitting. My favorite picture of Theo was taken when he was 9 months old, and is from the left because he had just spit sweet potatoes all over his right side... It does end eventually, in the meantime, wear shirts you don't love, particularly when you start on solids! I don't know Amber, but she's right about the multicolored grossness. - Sorry, Amber, I feel your pain (my doctor says there's nothing to do, either).

Oh Wendy, enjoy these years when he is small and his problems are small and easily attended to.
